Responsibilities
The BVL is an independent federal authority within the area of responsibility of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and is responsible for the marketing authorisation of veterinary medicinal products.
Groups and units
BVL staff represent the interests of Germany and the European Union in European and supranational bodies and is intensely involved in their activities.
