The BVL is gradually introducing the possibility to submit applications electronically. Currently this service is available for the following types of applications:

• Application for the authorisation of a plant protection product under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009
• Application for the extension of an authorisation (amendment and extension on minor use) under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009
• Application for setting/amending of MRLs under Regulation (EC) No 396/2005
• Application for approval, renewal of approval or amendment of approval of an active substance under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009
• Application for a parallel trade permit according to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009
• Application for the authorisation of a plant protection product for an emergency situation according to Art. 53 of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 in conjunction with § 29 Plant Protection Act
• Application for a change in the production of the technical active substance (equivalence assessment) according to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009

In order to submit electronic applications, a registration at the BVL is necessary. Registration is done electronically and can be accessed via the registration page of the portal.

Instructions for filling in the forms as well as tips for the application can be found in the respective categories (Authorisation procedure, MRL procedure) and are provided in the portal after successful login.
